Peru Grand Tasting Fall 2008 in Washington, DC - today is last day to register!

Flavors of Peru is a private venture funded by Edgar Perez, a Peruvian New Yorker or Peruayorquino businessman and food connoisseur, who -rumors are saying- wants to open an upscale Peruvian food restaurant soon. This time, Flavors of Peru is presenting the event Peru Grand Tasting Fall 2008 on Wednesday November 19th, in Washington DC, at my favorite Las Canteras Restaurant.

The program includes: "Cocktails begin at 6:30PM, and guests will be introduced to a Multi-Course Peruvian Dinner at 7:00 PM, paired with wine, Peruvian beer and PiscObama Sour drink. There will also be a fantastic Peruvian dance show for the pleasure of the participants."

Reservations are required to attend this event and today until midnight is the last chance to do it.

About Peruvian cuisine, Edgar Perez reminds us that "this is the cuisine that legendary French Chef and Culinary writer Auguste Escoffer called one of the best in the world and Chef Todd English just called the next big thing."
